The One Pair Of Shoes Worth Over $1.4K At Under $40

Difficult footwear, ahhh! I know you’re not the only one who’s had to take a few too many steps in very uncomfortable shoes. Take this from someone who’s chosen looks over comfort, and later had to deal with painful consequences, which, in a way, have made me a shoe expert!

Through my experience I’ve learned how to judge a shoe by its cover. And to give you an educated answer as to how I’m capable of decoding this information, I start by seeing how narrow the front of the shoe is, and then I follow by noticing if there are any accessories that'll scratch me as I walk. If these obvious indicators appear to be present, chances are you’re setting yourself up for what may be one of the longest walks of your life.

But if you rather take one step at a time, I recommend trying on the shoe and seeing if your foot glides in easily—I’m a firm believer that you shouldn’t get heels that are too tight thinking that they’ll stretch as you wear them. When it comes down to truly enjoying a shoe in every sense of the word, I’ll admit that these are not the best in the category. But what I do know is that they're wearable enough to go out on a date to the movies. However, keep one thing in mind: if you’re legs are on the chunkier side, the very top corner by where the zipper is in the back will scratch you— not a huge deal that a few band aids can’t take care of.
